About Me
I am a detective. In my years as a body worker, I have studied physical therapy, massage therapy, osteopathy, personal training, integrative medicine, sound therapy, massage cupping, and holistic nutrition. I place a high value on education, continually expanding the breadth of my knowledge.

The Investigation Begins
When it comes to a manual therapy session, you may have experienced pain for years. Maybe you previously tried physical therapy, contorted your body into various stretches, paid hundreds of dollars for a massage. But alas, it was all for naught, and you're at your wits end.

Together, we'll learn the true cause of your pain. Through a detailed investigation, interview, and review of your history, we'll seek to uncover what's really causing that pain and what steps we need to take to alleviate it and keep it at bay.
I start with tracing the nervous system. I “listen” for what your body tells me, and I begin to pick the appropriate treatment necessary. Sometimes this will include the use of sound instruments to improve the vibration of the cells.

My Background
My journey to "detective" work began in 2003. A San Diego native and trained opera singer, I graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in music performance. However, while searching for opportunities to perform, I realized I had a desire to heal others. I earned my massage therapy certification in 2004 and my Personal Trainer Certification in 2005.

This true passion for helping others blossomed, and client "wow" moments brought me more joy than performing on stage. When I worked with a client and they would finally be able to move without pain, or they would take a step they couldn't before, or they could move a joint that was previously stuck, they would turn to me with a wowed expression. That would make my day, and it still does.
I earned my doctorate of physical therapy from University of St. Augustine in April 2012 and, combined with my background in massage therapy and personal training, work with people of all ages to help them achieve healthy mobility, recover from injury, and improve their movement patterns to avoid future injury. While focusing on physical therapy, I uncovered the importance of nutrition in healing the body.

Investigating Deeper
I discovered my own food restrictions through trial and error which led me to a healthier body and less pain. I spent time trying to figure out what was the best way to help my patients with their food limitations. I completed my holistic chef program in 2024 and am working on a Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. I like to teach people that food can be delicious and healing.

Around the same time, I wanted to address the emotional component of pain and found the Institute of Sound Therapy. Through this program, I discovered that the mind-body connection could be reprogrammed through the use of sound vibration. Sound therapy has been a way to break through the emotional limitations of my patients’ pain.

Since opening my clinic in 2015, it has been amazing for me to share my life's work. I find that I cannot shut off my desire to help others. I look forward to seeing you soon and sharing in your "wow" moment!
